{Daydreams & Visions} Artist Pakayla Biehen

As most of you know, I love and adore dreamy things..so when I came upon these beauties, I couldn't help but stop and stare and daydream away. One glance and I instantly felt as if I was standing in a field of the most amazing flowers with the wind dancing through my hair and the sweet and lulling aroma of decadent florals were tantalising my senses.  These have been created through the wonderful paintings of Pakayla Biehn, derived from double exposure photography. Based in San Francisco, she collaborates with several photographers, produces double exposure photographs for inspirations, and then paints the images using oil on canvas in the most realistic, detailed and ethereal way. I'm so impressed, they're just wonderful.  I hope you enjoy them to & have a visit to her website to see more wonders!

Have a gorgeous weekend my sweethearts!!
All love & beautiful 'tings.

And it was all Yellow...

Hello my beauties!! I hope the week has been faring well with you all! The sunshine has been on and off here, the weather is a bit confused at the moment it seems. I took these a few weeks ago, this is one of my dresses that I' had never worn. So I decided to give it a test drive and see how it goes! I'd love to find a pair of crazy tights to wear with it & also think I need to find a hat or fascinator, maybe topped with some red fruit - my dear Sara would agree with me here ;) and some gloves and the other problem with it was if there was a slight wind, it would get blown up and anyone behind me might have gotten a peep of my undies, haha. So, I will need to do some thinking for the next time I wear this dress :))  But, it was fun twirling around amongst the flowers :)  Do you have any clothes in your closets, that you have to make adjustments to, so they look right when you wear them!?!  Let me know your stories!! Have a wonderful day my sweet flowers!!

To Love is Divine!!

Happy Monday dolls!! Also a Happy Memorial Day to all celebrating today & remembering those who served to protect. I hope the day is sunny and bright for you all!!! After all these sad things in the news, I thought it was a great day for some love :)) I don't think expressing love should just be designated to Valentine's Day - But, it's for all days and the world is in dire need of it. Love for others & love for ourselves!

Also, I decided on something new for the blog, I'd like to have fun little giveaways, sometimes it might be something Scottish for those of my readers that enjoy learning about where I live, it might have to do with Art - my love or vintage related. Anything, as I want it to be quite random & reflect the eclectic range of readers I have on my blog. I just wanted to do something as a thank you to all of you for all your comments, smiles, wishes and love! I appreciate it very much & just wanted to have some fun things on here for you all :)  Below is a bracelet that I picked up from the zoo - which was made here in Scotland, for their new panda exhibit, this little one here has a heart that says 'LOVE', I thought it fit this post perfectly! You don't have to do anything to win it, just say you'd like to win it in the comments & I'll pick a winner randomly & announce it at the next Monday post. Have a wonderful day my dears!!

Like a Flower in the Rain...

Good day dolls!! Just a short post today, I've been in the midst of cleaning things out of my house & sitting outside in the sunshine while it's been so nice. It's made it difficult to want to sit in with a computer. These are the outfit photos that were taken at the zoo, which almost didn't happen as it rained a lot on and off. But, as the sun broke through for a small moment, I took the chance to get some photos taken, it's been a while since I've done an outfit post due to the winter. I feel a bit rusty, haha. Anyways...have a marvellous day dolls & I hope the sun is shining for you all!!
