To the beginning of some kind of adventure....

Happy New Year's Eve dolls!! Well, it's the end of this year, but almost the start of a new fresh one...many things we can leave behind and even more to look forward to. We can start over, afresh and grasp the things we wanted in the past year. We can be made new again and become even better. White...the colour of new beginnings, freshness, innovative outlooks and purity. Can bring harmony and balance. It can reduce the feeling of disappointment and anxiety, so it is perfect to begin a new year with!! I hope this new year be one of hope and joy for you all...a time to jump into the things that hold us back and break boundaries....may you all have peace of mind and warmth in your hearts. I will think of you all as the bell chimes at midnight tonight...and may it be a blessed 2013!!

See you in the New Year, I'll be back on Wednesday, as tomorrow is spent with family!!

Thank you all for being here, I appreciate it!!

Happy 2nd Birthday to The Dainty Dolls House!

Why hello dears!! Happy 2nd birthday to The Dainty Dolls House!!! Wooooo!! Doesn't seem two years, I often feel its been longer than that, but other times it feels as if I just started!! But, over the time I have come in contact with some of the loveliest people ever...you have let me into your world and hearts and I have appreciated it so much. Some of your hellos have turned into 'I love you's' which has been heart warming and ever so humbling. Many of you have left me words of support and love or have come here needing rest or uplifting, which I love. I have gained more confidence from all of you...in my writing and even opening up to show my face on here almost every week....which wasn't easy as I used to have the worst confidence and self loathing for myself, but it has dwindled over time...thanks to you all! It's because of all of you, more so than me, that has made this Dainty Dolls House what it is & I appreciate you all so much! If I could, I'd give you all a hug and we'd have a massive party in some fantastic castle somewhere & of course I'll wear my best dress ;)
And what is to come!?! Hmmm...well, a LOT really! I want to go further and expand on some things. I'm not one who likes to keep it the same, I like change & growth. More art, outfits, creativity and also some new things that I have planned, but they're a secret just now...but I know you all will enjoy them!! But, I'd just like to say a massive thank you to all of you for reading& I hope all of you have a wonderful and blessed weekend & Christmas time to come!! Be safe & loved wherever you may be!!

Here & There

I haven't really taken any photos of myself lately, it's so cold outside, that I change my mind when I head outside. But, I will brave it soon. These were taken not that long ago anyways...I just never got around to posting them. The one above was taken after picking my daughter up from school...and the one below was taken at the esplanade, I was reading to pass time while my daughter was in drama class. My youngest was sleeping in the pram, that's just out of the picture. It was actually a little cold, but after walking it got too hot for me, so I took it off briefly while I read my book.  These days are busy preparing for Christmas day, I have pressies to wrap and food to prepare. Friday is my blog's birthday...exciting, I shall post more on that, then! And Sunday is International Polka Dot Day...if you want to take part...see here! Have a marvellous day dolls!! Keep warm....

Lundi Love

Good Monday dolls!! I hope all of you had a wonderful weekend. It was a bit of a downer weekend with the horrific event that took place in my home country...it's a sad world we live in when someone can take the lives of innocent children...but that's just the thing...it happens all the time in different countries and rarely do we stop and send a prayer to them or fight for them. It's our responsibility to take care of the children of the world. They are the future. We get so wrapped up in useless things...we need to take more time to appreciate what's really important in life. I'll keep this one short as I just don't have a lot to say after the weekend!! I hope all of you no matter where you are, are safe and happy and surrounded by love!!
xoxo

All my love & prayers to those affected by these tragedies
